Take in the beautiful sites of Nelson Bay starting in Shoal Bay and working your way towards Fingal Bay. You'll pass the popular diving and snorkelling spot at Halifax Marine Park, the shores of Shoal Bay (keep your eye on the water as you'll often see dolphins), maybe even pop into the Country Club for a drink and take a detour at Garden Place to Box Beach then take the bush track parallel to Marine Drive to Fingal Bay beach. Continue along Marine Drive past Fingal Bay Beach and you'll find a lookout on the left hand side - a perfect spot to whale watch. Take some water with you on the walk.
